 1) What is the QuizME app?

The QuizME app provides students with a bank of practice questions, which allow students to study on the go using a mobile device.

 2) Is this app different than the old Smart QuizME app?

Yes, this is a totally different app, but the concept is the same.

If you have the old Smart QuizME app, it will not have the updated content. You should delete the old app and download the newer app to access the updated question banks.

 3) How do I access the app?

To download the app from the Google Play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.theinstitutes.quizmeapp&pcampaignid=web_share

To download the app from the Apple App store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/the-institutes-quizme/id6739631525

When you first open the app, you will be prompted to log in using the same log-in information that you use for your online account with The Institutes. In the future, the app should automatically display the question banks for any courses that you are actively enrolled in with The Institutes. However, during this initial rollout of the app, you might not see the question bank for your course even though you are enrolled with The Institutes. If that is the case, contact The Institutes’ customer service department and they manually add the question bank for your course to your QuizME app profile.

4) What courses are available in the app?

The below information is based on a conversation we have with a representative from The Institutes on January 15, 2025.

As of that date, the app has question banks for most but not all of The Institutes’ designations. We expect that more courses will be added to the app, but the representative was not able to provide an estimated release date for the remaining courses.

As of this time, the below courses are already available in the app:

  • All AINS courses
  • All CPCU courses (including all electives – ACRM 401, AIC 300, AIDA 401, ARE 321, AU 60)
  • All ARM courses

5) Is app access included as part of The Institutes’ study material packages?

Yes, app access is included in the purchase of any study material packages from The Institutes at no additional cost. Keep in mind, though, that The Institutes has not finished rolling out the question banks for all courses. You can contact The Institutes’ customer service department to verify if the question bank for the course you are purchasing has been released in the app yet (see Question #4 above for a list of confirmed courses).

6) Is there an option to purchase app access without buying The Institutes’ other study materials?

No. The only way to gain access is to purchase The Institutes’ study material packages.

7) Is there an expiration date on your app access?

Yes, your app access will expire when your course access expires. Currently, The Institutes’ course access extends for one year from the purchase date, meaning you will only have access to the app for that same one-year period.

8) Are the questions in the app different from the ones in The Institutes’ online course?

No, the questions in the app are exactly the same as the ones in The Institutes’ online course. The app simply allows you to access the questions in a more convenient way in case you want to study on the go.

Why our study programs work

Lots of companies offer study materials too, but here is why our study programs stand out:

See the concepts in action

You will be tested on your ability to apply the concepts to different situations, so we provide plenty of examples to show you how things work.

Less is NOT always more

Some things won't make sense until you have enough background info. We give extra context where you'd need it to fully grasp the material.

d

Learn AND remember

Besides learning the content, you have to remember it all. Our paid study programs include our famous study guides that make it super easy to refresh your memory.

About your instructor

Insurance Exam Guides (IEG) was founded by Stacy Trinh, CPCU®, who first started her teaching journey at the request of her co-workers who were preparing for their CPCU exams. Because of her reputation as an adept trainer and motivator, Stacy's co-workers had asked her to lead a class. The feedback on her sessions and study materials was overwhelming positive, and her students encouraged her to share what she had to offer with the rest of the CPCU community.

Since then, Stacy created a library of study materials for both CPCU® and AINS® that have helped thousands of students pass their exams. As an accounting major and former claims adjuster, her style of instruction incorporates both a financial and operational perspective that makes her study materials well-rounded. She looks forward to helping many more students continue to succeed, including you!
